About me
Ana Maria Garcia (she/her/hers) is a passionate advocate dedicated to creating solutions and expanding access to justice for all, particularly to underserved communities. Currently, she is the Vice President of Access to Justice Initiatives at NLSLA, serving as the liaison to the Court and overseeing all Court based services NLSLA and our partners provide.
Ms. Garcia is a leader in community at the local and state levels. She is a member of the Judicial Council’s Advisory Committee on Providing Access and Fairness. She has been active on task forces statewide working on all types of access issues – disability, and language access. She previously served a 2 year term as President of the Los Angeles County Commission for Women working to empower women and girls throughout the County of Los Angeles.
Ms. Garcia is a past president of the Latina Lawyers Bar Association and alumnae of the One-Justice Executive Fellowship program. Her leadership and service has been recognized by Legal Aid Association of California (LAAC) awarding her the 2011 Family Law Direct Representation Award.
